About me

My first experience of hypnotherapy was in preparation for childbirth. Hypnotherapy really helped me reduce anxieties allowing me to focus on my goal of remaining calm and relaxed during the birth of my daughter and son.

Prior to undertaking training as a Hypnotherapist, I worked for many years as a Specialist Community Practitioner (Health Visitor and qualified nurse) in the National Health Service (UK). I have also worked as a Community Nurse and School Nurse in the Middle East including here in Dubai, and bring experiences and insights from my work in caring for people to my Hypnotherapy practice today.

I trained at the Clifton Practice, a centre of excellence in the UK whose techniques are grounded in the latest research in neuroscience. I have a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD). I am also a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy UK.

The whole experience of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is designed to be uplifting; with positive changes taking place in a relatively short space of time, so you will begin to notice changes early on. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy practicing it so much and why I find it so rewarding.
