Anxiety is a normal human response , it describes those feelings of worry and fear that we feel particularly in relation to what might happen. All of us will have experienced anxiety at times in our life often at stressful events. However, feelings of anxiety can be overwhelming and persistent for some of us and begin to impact on our quality of life. Often the cause may not be obvious to the sufferer whilst for others the cause is very clear such as a traumatic event or a series of life stressors. Anxiety can be very distressing.
We can help in reducing anxiety. Hypnosis itself is very relaxing and calming and helps reduce feelings of anxiety. During consultation I will explain how the brain works in relation to feelings of anxiety and how we can work to overcome these feelings.
